Maybe the rules about written swearwords are different.or possibly because it's spelled differently. Some of them, mysteriously, showed the full title onscreen while the voiceover announced the censored version. TV ads for Inglourious Basterds (at least in the UK before the Watershed) just called it Inglourious.In some markets, retitled The Pope Must Diet! - which, one might argue, is even more offensive, as now the title goes from trying to kill the Pope to implying that he's fat.
